Listening to their CD once again.
I started my awesome project in Music class and I'm starting my Spanish one soon! I love Allstar Weekend. Just in case you didn't see the other post I made, the projects are... In Spanish class I'm doing a Spanish story about them and in music class I'm doing a PowerPoint about them!!! I'm so happy! Except I have a lot of testing in school and so I need to study which takes time away from listening to Allstar Weekend, blogging about them, and going on FB (Facebook) to go on their fan pages that I like. Oh! And I think I'm gonna win the contest on FB! It's where you need to make a photo that promotes the fan page and the 2 people who get the most likes on their photo get a photo album of Allstar Weekend and two frames with pictures, one of Zach Porter, and one with all of the members! There are only 2 people with photos so far I think... lol and that includes me so even if I got less likes (which I didn't :P) I would probably still win! I'm so stoked! ILY Allstar Weekend!

Facebook

I was just on Facebook for like 2 hours talking to random people on a fan page for Allstar Weekend! That's how much I love them! I love you Allstar Weekend!!!!!!!!!!! <3

I was listening to their CD like I do everyday but now I'm listening to the NOW 36 CD :) I like this CD but not as much as my Allstar Weekend CD <3

In school :)

Ok so in Home Room a couple days ago I got a letter type thingy saying that I had a 3.3 GPA or higher and today (Friday May 27th) I got to go to a luncheon which had amazing food BTW! Lol, Well, on the letter it said at the bottom "There will be a special guest speaker" and the first thing that popped into my head was what if it was Allstar Weekend! Lol. I knew that wasn't going to be them but I just had to think of it! HAHA.
Also, in music class I'm making a Powerpoint starting Tuesday (I think) and it's about our favorite singer/band and right when the teacher said that I turned to my friend, shook her, and said "PERFECT!!!!" It was so funny!
Lastly, in Spanish class, I'm making a Spanish story and it's obviously about Allstar Weekend... School is getting way more fun! That's probably because Allstar Weekend is included in a lot of my classes!

I love this shirt so much. Sometime I'll probably take a picture of it and put it up on here :)

Advice :P

This post is going to be advice about things (As you can see from the title.) But the important part is it's advice about doing what you love. In my case it's singing so I'm going to use that as an example :) If you like something like singing, dancing, playing an instrument, etc... Then don't stop if you can't do something. Always remember to keep practicing! It's the most important key to doing what you love. Believe in yourself!

Random :P

I'm listening to their CD "Suddenly Yours" right now... I listen to it everyday. NO JOKE! I love them soooooo much. Their music makes me want to melt in my seat! I would be dancing to it like a fool right now but there are people in the same room as me... WHAT THE HECK?! I can embarrass my self!! I'm now dancing in my seat like a fool!! :D Haha yah make fun of me but you're just missing out!!! HAHA

My pictures!

I hope you like my pictures! I made them myself and I hope you love them as much as I do! Two of these pictures are based on videos and to watch these videos go to youtube.com and look up "Milkshake allstar weekend" or "Cereal killer allstar weekend" and yes that's how you're supposed to spell "cereal" for this video and you'll get why if you watch the video lol hope you like it!

Some info about the members

Zachary Porter, Nathan Darmody, and Cameron Quiseng went to high school together at Poway High, and Micheal Martinez was a friend of the boys before they started the band. Nathan and Cameron attended elementary school, middle school, and high school together.

Zach wanted the name "Outerspace Politicians" to be the name of the band which didn't work out so was changed to "Allstar" with that name they had some troubles with some other people so they changed it to "Allstar Weekend"  which seemed to appeal to people because they thought that weekends are always fun and so they wanted their band's name to be "fun." That's how they got their band name. 

Michael Martinez heard of their band and asked them if they needed a drummer on MySpace. Turns out they did and Michael got in the band.

I love the one where Cameron asked Michael if he was a silver back monkey then he made a monkey noise. He's so cute! I also love the one with the Hoedown Throwdown and Stanky Legg Allstar Weekend style! I highly recommend you watch their videos! They made me laugh so hard and I bet they will make you laugh!
Okay, on a different subject, Cameron Quiseng has a Formspring, which is a question asking website, I asked him a question and he answered! I honestly didn't think he was going to respond but he did! I love him! You should definitely make a Formspring on http://www.formspring.com. You can tell Cameron anything or ask him anything. He is amazing and whenever he has free time he talks with his fans!

I really like Hey, Princess, Journey to the end of my life, and Not Your Birthday!

About the band, Allstar Weekend

Allstar Weekend is an American pop/Rock band from Poway, California.  The band got their popularity from the Disney Channel TV network.

Zachary David Porter - lead vocals
Nathan Sean Darmody - lead guitar, vocals
Cameron Michael Quiseng - bassist
Michael Allen Martinez - drummer 

In June 2010, they began their first headlining tour, Suddenly Summer Tour.

Zach, Nathan, and Cameron attended high school together at Poway High, and Micheal Martinez was a friend of both of the boys before they started the band. Nathan and Cameron attended primary, middle, and high school together. Michael attended a rival high school but was still awesome friends with the other three members of the band. He met them when he contacted them from MySpace when he asked if they needed a drummer for the band, he then showed them many of his videos from YouTube . Allstar Weekend is not their original band name. Zach Porter chose the name Outerspace Politicians which was changed to Allstar. This name started to be a problem, so they changed their name to Allstar Weekend. According to many interviews, they chose the word "Weekend" to be added into the name because weekends are often loved by many people.

The way they became famous is when they became contestants on Disney Channel's Next Big Thing (NBT).

When they were on NBT their band name was Allstar, not Allstar Weekend.

They lost the contest but soon signed a contract with Hollywood Records and began working on their debut album right away. 

On March, 17, 2010, the band released their debut single, "A Different Side of Me."
 They also redid "I just can't wait to be king" from the Lion King.

I listen to their music everyday for hours on end. You might be thinking "She shouldn't be on the computer that much." But I do exercise by watching their videos and listening to their music while I dance around my house like a fool. Now that's FUN exercise! I also learned the whole dance to the Hoedown Throwdown thanks to them.
